End Close inserts weight at each bottom corner and tape at each top corner of draperand then end closes the hem with a straight stitch.

• Roll rack of draperies from tabling department to end closure machine
• Read work ticket for special instructions and sign work ticket
• Remove drapery carefully from rack over into lap, to each side by adjusting the buffin to keep from showing when sewn, then insert the end into the machine and sew a straight stitch
• Put the top part of the drapery over to the finished rack
• Insert a weight at each bottom corner of drapery. End close the hem of each corner with a straight stitch
• Seam fold drapery and put it on the finished rack with date card matching work ticket
• Certain colors of draperies have to be done in cotton thread
• Any defectiveness of drapery and questions concerning the drapery should be reported to supervisor, or placed in a hold rack in a designated area to be checked by supervisor
• Draperies should be correct before releasing to next step of operation
• Quality errors should be less than 1%
• Quantity should be 70-100% - this depends upon workflow
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school graduate
• Sewing experience; experience with industrial sewing machines
• Ability to use and read a tape measure
• General knowledge of fabrics
• Ability to use hand tools
• Successfully pass color blind test
• Accuracy with names, numbers, and spelling
• Capable of sitting for extended periods of time
• Capable of lifting on a continuous basis
• Strong attention to details
• Follow written and verbal instructions
