Job SummaryThe Business Manager 2 will serve as the lead manager for the St. Joseph's Candler Residency Programs. This position collaborates with Savannah UME/GME campus leadership, program leadership, Central GME leadership, St. Joseph's Candler leadership and administrative staff to assist with the day-to-day financial, administrative and educational operations of the St. Josephs Candler Residency Programs.
Responsibilities- Recruitment / Administrative Management
Serve as part of the Residency Program Management team. Lead staff administration for the 60 FTE (residents) residency program and maintain all accreditation documentation. - Field questions from prospective resident applicants. Assist with the annual application process in the online ERAS system.
- Set up resident interviews with potential residents as directed by program directors.
- Create processes for tracking data (GME Office / ACGME). Oversee daily program activities.
- Supervise and direct the residency program coordinator. Serve as lead business manager and trainer for new residency programs (3 programs with a total of ~40 additional residents).
- Clinical Experience, Educational Scheduling and Credentialing
Create, monitor and disseminate schedules; manage rotation schedules. Track hours in the institutional tracking system (New Innovations). Monitor completion and compliance of work hour logs. Assist with credentialing for St. Joseph's Candler Hospital System and AU. Collect CVs and data sheets for clinical appointments. - Didactics and Education
Schedule didactic sessions and maintain a master calendar. Track residents' progression toward milestones and keep program leadership informed. Assist with remedial actions and scheduling scholarly work. Maintain rotation and assignment performance standards. Disseminate program policies and conduct supervision and evaluation training. - Finance & Operations
Collaborate with the Program Director and hospital leadership to review the pro forma; communicate adjustments. Process travel authorizations, expense reports, check requests, and purchase orders. Reconcile monthly financial reports with the Savannah Campus Administrator. Process hiring paperwork for core faculty and onboard new residents.
Additional duties or responsibilities as assigned.
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or related discipline with three years of administrative management experience.

Shift: Days/M-F (work outside of normal business hours may be required for exempt positions)
Pay Band: 13
Salary: Minimum $68,500.00 Annually
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications within the established range (minimum-midpoint).
