. Thompson Industrial powered by Clean Harbors, located in Augusta, GA, is looking for an IS Project Manager to join our safety‑conscious team. The successful candidate will lead and manage a team of employees in supporting the execution of ultrasonic cleaning projects for client assets at various locations and off‑site facilities. The IS Sr. Project Manager serves as the primary customer contact, writes and submits work plans, documents site activities and change orders, provides field directives, operates and maintains ultrasonic and hydro‑blast equipment, and assists in scoping and pricing proposals.

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies and processes and acting safely at all times.
• Responsibility for project adherence to safety, compliance with federal and state regulations, and corporate policies.
• Write and communicate with clients and employees.
• Provide timely, concise, and relevant information to superiors and subordinates.
• Prepare proposals, including cost estimates, work scopes, and schedules.
• Act as an agent of business and develop relationships with key customers.
• Provide guidance to subordinates to meet budget expectations.
• Take the lead on credit and collections issues related to work generated within the managed business units.
• Provide engineering and technical support to industrial service offices.
• Take full responsibility for all facets of a project, including finances and documentation, and serve as primary point of contact for all correspondence.
• Provide technical support for proposal preparation, project cost estimates, and subcontractor selection and procurement.
• Enforce Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Work closely with the Director of Health and Safety and VP to resolve issues timely.
• Ensure precise and accurate financial documentation representing project health.
• Participate in joint calls with clients and maintain a professional image.
• Maintain and operate ultrasonic equipment.
• Travel to and from project sites; when at home, still responsible for oversight of assigned projects.

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, or related disciplines preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial services, hydro blasting, or chemical cleaning.
• Cost estimating and computer experience.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong customer management skills.
• Experience with ultrasonic cleaning is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are necessary.
• Record‑keeping and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
