Facilities Coordinator

Job Overview

Responsible for the preventative/predictive maintenance and janitorial efficiency at the Center of Hope facilities and other related locations. Assists the Facilities Manager with planning and execution of facility department requirements for special events on campus.

• Coordinates and provides oversight for the daily housekeeping and maintenance staff.
• Requisition s supplies from maintenance, ensuring records and receipts of purchases related to facility maintenance.
• Maintains inventory levels.
• Conducts and oversees weekly inspections ensuring general housekeeping and maintenance practices are being maintained.
• Monitors energy/water consumption and corrects and/or reports unusual usage conditions or leaks.
• Monitors security, fire protection systems to ensure proper function.

• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 60lbs).
• Ability to perform continuous walking, lifting, bending, climbing.
• Ability to work in storage, warehouse environments with dirt, dust and the like.
• Ability to perform work duties in all weather environments.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two (2) years experience in facility maintenance or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Valid Driver’s License.
