Exciting career opportunity for a Full Time Custodial Technician working Nights.
This position is considered sensitive and may require extensive background screening processes in order to meet current or future Network and/or government contract needs. ResponsibilitiesThe Full Time Custodial Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to: performing all labor necessary to maintain the building in a clean and orderly condition. This includes vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, emptying trash, cleaning bathrooms, fixtures, waxing, removing old wax, mopping, and applying anti-static substances to carpets. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications- High School diploma coupled with two or more years' experience in custodial work.
- Must be able to achieve and maintain security clearance at the TS/SCI level.
- Requires extensive walking, stooping, pushing, carrying, climbing, bending, and lifting.
- Must comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period.
- Relocates a 12-foot stepladder without assistance.
- Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and ladders.
- Performs routine movements such as walking, climbing, lifting, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead.
- Possesses good vision (may be corrected), the ability to see in color, and to hear and communicate in English.
- May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.
- Recognizes when something is wrong or likely to go wrong, without necessarily solving the problem.
- Applies general rules to specific problems to produce sensible answers.
- Combines pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions, including identifying relationships among seemingly unrelated events.
- Sees details at close range (within a few feet).
- Listens to and understands spoken information and ideas.
