As the HR Generalist at Sales Gravy, you will own the day‑to‑day HR function for a small but fast‑growing organization. This role is responsible for employee relations, compliance, recruiting coordination, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR operations. The ideal candidate is self‑directed, highly organized, and comfortable taking initiative without being asked.
In this position, you will- Own and execute all day‑to‑day HR operations, ensuring processes are clean, compliant, and running smoothly.
- Handle employee relations issues, including performance concerns, conflict resolution, and policy questions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR matters, providing clear, timely guidance to employees and leaders.
- Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date employee records, documentation, and compliance files.
- Manage the full recruiting coordination process, including posting roles, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer letters.
- Run new hire onboarding and ensure every employee has a professional, organized, and consistent experience.
- Administer benefits programs, track PTO, and handle employee questions related to enrollment, changes, and claims.
- Coordinate payroll inputs and changes with accuracy and urgency.
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or risks in HR processes and take initiative to fix them.
- Support leadership in executing culture, engagement, and training initiatives.
- Coordinate HR projects, meetings, and development activities without needing direction.
- Provide internal support via phone, chat, and email as needed.
- Additional responsibilities as needed to support the business.
- 2–4 years of experience in an HR generalist or HR coordinator role.
- Solid understanding of HR practices, employment law, and compliance requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust at all levels.
- Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
