* Maintains supplies as needed. Cleans and straightens assigned areas.
* Collects, sorts, launders, transports and distributes linens and uniforms.
* Ensures laundry, housekeeping and floor equipment is in good working condition.
* Maintains and stocks equipment and supplies as needed.
* May mend linens and assist in preventative maintenance and repair.
* Observes required safety precautions in disposing of contaminated refuse.
* Operates hand tools and power cleaning equipment. Participates in making, marking, altering and mending of clothing, linens, and other items.
* Presses and store all linens
One (1) year of experience in related area of assignment; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Housekeeper 1 (FES
040) or position equivalent.
