The position provides individual, couples/relational, and group psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management for students. Duties include developing treatment plans, coordinating care, and interpreting assessment instruments. The role also delivers psycho educational presentations, trainings, and programs that promote emotional wellness and prevent mental illness. Additional responsibilities include front desk coverage, campus trainings, outreach to university and community organizations, and other assignments as directed by the Director and Assistant Director.
Responsibilities- COUNSELING: Provide individual, group, and couples/relational psychotherapy, including assessment, treatment planning, case management, crisis intervention, and consultation. Maintain accurate counseling records and supervise master's level interns. Coordinate SCAPS initiatives to enhance services.
- PROGRAMMING: Develop and conduct psycho‑educational workshops, class presentations, and outreach programs. Collaborate with campus departments, committees, and student organizations to provide joint programming. Train campus organizations, faculty, and staff on mental‑health concerns relevant to students.

EDUCATION:
Participate in continuing‑education programs required for license maintenance and stay current with professional trends. - Perform other duties as assigned.
- Master's degree in mental health counseling, psychology, social work, or marital and family therapy from an accredited institution.
- Licensed or eligible to obtain a Georgia license to provide independent mental‑health services.
- Experience in a university counseling center setting.
- Proficiency in group and couples counseling.
- Experience assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of mental‑health disorders.
- Experience providing emergency services and treating severe mental‑health concerns.
- Experience delivering outreach presentations on mental‑health topics for university students.
- Knowledge of Electronic Medical Record systems.
- Detail‑oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical and customer‑service skills.
- Shift: Days; M‑F (outside standard hours may be required)
- Full‑time limited‑term position (estimated duration up to 3 years)
- Pay Band: B9 – $48,800 to $50,752 annually
- Benefits include health, dental, life insurance, retirement, vacation, sick leave, and 13 paid holidays.
