Job Details:

• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted

• Care for adult to geriatric patient population

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH

• Work with all potential MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, Neuro ICU, CVICU diagnoses

• Primary floating required to ICU Float but may float to all MS, MS/Tele, PCU, ICU units within the hospital

• Patient ratios: 1:2-3 ICU; 1:4-5 PCU; 1:5-6 MS, MS Tele

• Use Epic charting system (required), Pyxis, and SBAR

• Dress code:
Navy blue scrubs

• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed

• Work every other weekend (average 6 weekends in a 13-week contract)

• Floating required throughout the facility

• No call requirements

• Holiday work required based on assignment period - work major holidays that fall during assignment

• 24 hours of orientation provided

• Full compliance required to start on time

• Skills include ventilator management, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, PICC line management, IV management, and various critical care procedures
