Position: Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse - $2,278 per week

Job Details:

• 36 or 48 hour guaranteed shifts per week

• Minimum 2 years of experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)

• Patient population ranges from neonates to geriatrics

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS

• Work in general emergency department (non-trauma) with high acuity patients

• 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio in 59-bed ER averagingpatients per day

• Must have Epic experience (hard requirement)

• Work with Pyxis medication dispensing system

• Navy blue scrubs required

• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed

• Work every other weekend

• Floating is rare

• Holiday coverage required based on assignment period

• 24 hours of orientation provided

• Must be available to submit compliance documents within 48 hours of contract signing

• Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission

• Two supervisory references highly preferred (Manager level or above)

• Skills include management of multisystem organ dysfunction, arterial line management, trauma care, and various emergency procedures

Facility:

This healthcare facility operates a large and busy emergency department that is both Stroke and STEMI certified. The facility provides comprehensive emergency services with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy. The emergency department features 74 rooms and beds, handling high-acuity cases with modern equipment and advanced care capabilities for patients of all ages.
