Job Summary
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our hematological malignancies registry and in coordinating a project aiming at addressing health disparities across Georgia. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and improve patient outcomes in the field of hematology and other malignancies.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
REGISTRY MANAGEMENT
:
- Data Collection and Entry:
Accurately collect, enter, and manage patient data related to hematological and other malignancies in the registry database. - Quality Control:
Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data by performing regular quality control checks and audits. - Database Management:
Maintain and update the registry database, ensuring data integrity and security. - Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including patient confidentiality and ethical standards.

- Study Coordination:
Coordinate research studies aiming at addressing the access of women living in rural areas of Georgia and South Carolina to breast and cervical cancer screenings. - Protocol Development:
Assist in the development and implementation of research protocols and standard operating procedures. Generating protocols for clinical research and submitting them to the Institutional Review Board (IRB). - Timeline Management:
Monitor project timelines and ensure milestones are met according to the study plan.

- Literature Review:
Conduct literature reviews to support ongoing research projects and stay updated on the latest advancements in hematological malignancies. - Data Analysis:
Assist in the analysis of registry data to identify trends, patterns, and research opportunities. - Report Generation:
Prepare detailed reports and presentations based on registry data for internal and external stakeholders. - Grant Writing:
Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and funding applications to support research initiatives.
