The Clinical Team Lead serves as a key clinical and operational leader within our pain management practice. This role combines clinical responsibilities with supervisory and coordination duties, supporting providers and staff to ensure efficient clinic operations, high-quality patient care, and adherence to clinical and regulatory standards. The Clinical Team Lead acts as a resource and mentor to the medical assistant staff and assists with day-to-day workflow oversight.

- Associate degree or higher, with coursework in healthcare or a related field.
- Prior supervisory or lead experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Assist with treatments and procedures as ordered by providers, under appropriate supervision
- Interview patients, obtain and document vital signs, and record patient information in the EMR
- Prepare treatment rooms for pain management procedures, ensuring appropriate room turnover
- Document provider encounters accurately, including diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, prescriptions, and orders
- Transcribe and enter patient orders such as laboratory tests, imaging, and medications
- Provide day-to-day oversight and guidance to medical assistant staff
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for MAs, supporting onboarding and training of new staff
- Assist with scheduling, task delegation, and workflow optimization to ensure efficient clinic operations
- Monitor adherence to clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory standards (including HIPAA compliance)
- Communicate effectively with providers and management regarding staffing needs, workflow issues, and operational concerns
- Perform and oversee basic clerical duties, including phone coverage and record maintenance
- Coordinate materials management, including ordering, stocking, and inventory control of clinical supplies
- Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to clinic efficiency initiatives
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage clinic workflow
- Working knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
