Job Summary And Qualifications

To perform a variety of diagnostic cardiology procedures which will assist in the diagnosis of cardiac disease including: EKG’s, Stress Tests, Holter Monitoring, and assisting with Nuclear Stress Tests. Complies with the Memorial Health Compliance Program, related policies and procedures and the Code of Business Practices; reports instances of perceived and actual non‑compliance to Team Leader or through other reporting mechanism.

Performs EKGs, downloads into the MUSE, and edits reports

Charges and documents patient testing. Prepares reports for the physician

Performs routine cleaning, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to include coordination of maintenance with other departments and outside service coordinator

Performs and assists the physician with cardiac stress testing (treadmill and thallium)

Applies Holter Monitoring, performs scanning, and prepares reports

Responds to Code Blue as needed.

Follows hospital policies and procedures, supports and performs performance improvement activities, and assists with the preparation of monthly statistic reports

Works within the department as part of the team

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• High School Graduate / GED
