Surgical Tech - Surgical Services, PRN
Company:
Piedmont Health Care (Piedmont Augusta Hospital)
Provide operative assistance as a Surgical Tech across a variety of surgical procedures, working collaboratively with licensed surgical staff to prepare, manage, and dispose surgical instruments and supplies.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibly handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during surgical procedures, function in partnership with licensed staff, and perform patient care duties for clients of all ages under the direction of a registered nurse.
Qualifications- Minimum education required: High school graduate or GED; completion of a Surgical Technology program.
- Minimum experience required: Certification as a Surgical Technologist or at least 3 years of surgical tech experience.
- Minimum license/certification required by law: N/A.
- Additional qualifications: Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred; BLS certification required.
