Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross‑sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the guidance of a supervising Radiologist.
CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrate ability to perform advanced CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and are competent/proficient with cross‑sectional anatomy and physiology. Provide more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.
Qualifications Education- Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital‑based training program (Required)
- 2 years experience as a CT Technologist (Required)
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) (CT) (Required)
- Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT) (Required)
- BLS certified (Required)
