QUALIFICATIONS- MINIMUM
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School diploma or GED. - Minimum Experience
Required:

None. - Additional Qualifications:
- ACLS through the American Heart Association: required as needed by the practice.
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP); or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES); or a similarly recognized accrediting organization or completion of a Nursing Assistant program.
- BLS required.
- Previous experience in medical office environment, such as internship.
- Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA); or a similarly recognized certifying organization.
