As an Echo Cardiographer – Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech), you will be responsible for the direct and indirect care of patients, ensuring the quality of studies meets standards set by leadership. You will obtain views, measurements, and calculations to determine valve area and flow velocity, while maintaining and preparing equipment.

• Perform 2D/M-Mode, Doppler, and Stress Echocardiograms.
• Perform Transesophageal Echocardiograms, including processing all orders and reports.
• Transport the patient to and from the department for testing as needed.
• Assist in performing other duties in the diagnostic cardiology department (Special Testing), such as EKGs, Holter monitoring, and Stress testing.
• Keep accurate records for cleaning and maintaining equipment.

• Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular sonography.
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer, Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) specialist, or equivalent.
