RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies, and Procedures and adheres to A.L.A.R.A. programs.
Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state, and federal guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS- Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- Registered nuclear technologist with either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Nuclear certification or the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB-CNMT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified.
- Thorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines and radiopharmaceuticals.
