Overview
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an intelligence specialist engaging in the processing and exploitation of semi‑complex to complex information obtained from multi‑intelligence sources, through various means, related to political, economic, social, cultural, physical, geographic, scientific, and/or military conditions, trends, and forces that directly or indirectly affect national security.
Duties- Performs duties involving the processing and exploitation of intelligence information of semi‑complex to complex in nature that are not susceptible to generally accepted methods.
- Present ISR semi‑complex to complex capabilities to service, national, and coalition customers within defined areas of responsibility.
- Serve as a functional expert on ISR intelligence processing and exploitation issues. Makes recommendations on operational matters used to initiate management actions to revise policy to commit Agency funds or resources.

- All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two‑year DCIPS trial period.
- If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations. If receiving an authorized PCS, you may be subject to completing/signing a CONUS agreement. More information on PCS requirements, may be found at:

- Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1‑year probationary period OR 2‑year trial period.
- Upon completion of your probationary/trial period, your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest.
- The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments.
- An advanced intelligence‑related or professional/scientific degree is desirable.
- Incumbent may be subject to psychological screening/ polygraph testing as an inherent primary requirement of their position.
- Extensive intelligence reporting and product development expertise is highly desired for this position.
