Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee daily financial operations in a fast-paced, in-office environment. This role requires strong urgency, accountability, and discretion when handling sensitive financial data, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and lead day-to-day accounting workflows.

• Oversee all accounting functions in Quick Books Online, including AR, AP, billing, job cost accounting, payroll, budgeting, and vendor negotiations
• Ensure timely billing, accurate transaction coding, and effective AR/AP processes
• Manage collections with a strong customer-service mindset while remaining firm on outstanding balances
• Maintain and organize financial and compliance documentation (COIs, W-9s, bank statements, commissions, royalty reports)
• Prepare monthly commission reconciliations and franchisor royalty reports
• Provide required financial data to the CFO to support month-end close and KPI reporting
• Submit quarterly documentation to CPA for tax filings
• Learn and utilize operational software integrated with accounting and AR systems
• Use Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, Copilot, SharePoint) for documentation and communication

• Hands-on experience with Quick Books Online (desktop-only experience not sufficient)
• Experience managing AR, AP, billing, payroll, and financial documentation
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Teams, Copilot, SharePoint)
• High attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality
• Strong communication skills and confidence handling collections
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
