Water/Wastewater Engineer
Ardurra is seeking a qualified Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team in Augusta, GA. The engineer will plan, design, provide construction administration, and possibly manage aspects of multi-discipline water and wastewater projects for municipal clients throughout Florida and the Southeast region.
Primary Responsibilities- Plan, design, and produce construction administration for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, tanks, and other storage and conveyance systems.
- Perform engineering and process design, hydraulics, pumping systems, and treatment process projects.
- Coordinate with multiple departments, sub-consultants, and client stakeholders to execute multi-discipline projects.
- Research available resources and develop design solutions based on data and analysis.
- Assist or lead a project team in completing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Prepare design drawings, technical specifications, material quantity take-offs, and construction cost estimates.
- Maintain project files and document control in accordance with company standards.
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Develop detailed designs, plans, specifications, reports, and estimates for treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, tanks, and other water/wastewater storage and conveyance systems.
- Perform or manage engineering/process design, hydraulics, pumping systems, and treatment process projects.
- Coordinate with multiple departments and sub-consultants for multi-discipline projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering field.
- Approximately 2 to 5 years of experience in municipal water or wastewater and public works engineering on local utility projects.
