JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma, associate's degree, and/or related experience preferred.
Certification or Licensure: None
Skills: Knowledge of various data collection methods. Knowledge of student scheduling, grade reporting, attendance, and discipline processes. Working knowledge of student information systems. Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with the public, students, parents, and school staff. Demonstrated skills in oral and written communication. Demonstrated skills in organization and problem-solving. Ability to work independently. Ability to work across functional boundaries and interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
Ability to demonstrate technology skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
Work Experience: Three years of office/clerical experience required. Experience utilizing data collection programs in a school setting is preferred.
PRIMARY DUTY:
This position is responsible for performing specialized clerical and technical tasks related to data collection in the school district's student information database and assisting with all state reporting requirements such as FTE and student records.
