Job SummaryThe Head Coach of Women's Golf will administer, coordinate, and supervise the division, including Women’s Golf programs.
Responsibilities- Recruit and scout student athletes to maintain a competitive team.
- Develop good relationships with coaches and contacts of high schools, junior colleges, clubs, and community-sponsored groups.
- Contact and evaluate local, state, national, and international prospective student athletes.
- Conduct official and unofficial visits on campus.
- Maintain knowledge of NCAA recruiting rules, pass the annual certification test, and coordinate recruiting efforts with NCAA Compliance Officer as required.
- Instruct student athletes during practice sessions, both as a team and individually.
- Monitor and review student‑athletes’ progress reports of each professor in a timely manner, consistent with departmental procedure, and maintain sensitivity toward class absenteeism.
- Attend seminars and conferences, conduct public speaking and appearances, and involve the team in fundraising and community activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline with three years of previous instructing and/or coaching experience at the collegiate level and/or professional golf experience.
- NCAA Coaching Certification required.
- Detail‑oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
- Shift : Days; M-F (Work outside of the standard business hours may be required)
- Pay Band : B13
- Salary : $68,500 / annually–$87,300 / annually.
- Recruitment Period : Until Filled

Conditions of EmploymentAll selected candidates are required to successfully pass a Background Check review prior to starting. A credit check is required for certain duties. Motor vehicle reports are required for positions that require driving an Augusta University vehicle. Final candidates for faculty hires must provide proof of completed academic degree(s) and post‑secondary coursework. All employees must adhere to cybersecurity and privacy policies.
