Curriculum Systems Specialist – Augusta University

The role is responsible for reviewing and managing curriculum proposals and changes for compliance with institutional and state guidelines, catalog production and management, updating required systems (Curriculog, Acalog, Web Content Management), and maintaining the Registrar's Office website.
Responsibilities- Modified Campus Curriculum System
:
Serve as system administrator for the electronic curriculum management software. Act as primary liaison for all curriculum proposals, ensuring compliance with academic, institutional, and USG policies. Coordinate with faculty, department leaders, and administrators to facilitate the proposal process and resolve issues. - Manage approval workflows and proposal hierarchies; review, track, and report daily metrics to leadership.
- Build and modify electronic forms, fields, and workflow structures to support process improvement. Conduct peer assessments and quality checks on form design and compliance.
- Archive or remove proposals as needed to maintain data integrity.
- Curriculum Administration
:
Review and process all curriculum proposals for administrative compliance with institutional and USG regulations. Ensure approved changes are reflected in the academic catalog and related systems. - Modern Campus Catalog (Acalog):
Act as system administrator for catalog management software. Build, edit, and maintain catalog content; coordinate the annual review cycle and ensure 100% completion before publication. Produce online and PDF catalog versions. - Maintain archives of historical catalog editions and conduct peer assessments on catalog content.
- Communication and Coordination
:
Monitor and respond to inquiries via the Curriculog and Catalog resource accounts. Coordinate planning and timelines for publication of new catalogs while maintaining current catalog in production. - Website and Documentation
:
Maintain Registrar's Office website content related to curriculum and catalog systems. Develop, update, and publish user guides and instructional materials. - Training and Support
:
Provide ongoing support and guidance to system users. Deliver training sessions for faculty and staff on system use and curriculum processes. - Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a regionally accredited higher education institution or a relevant work environment.
- Knowledge of BANNER, Acalog, Curriculog, and Degree works.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.
- Knowledge of university academic policy, Augusta University procedures, and USG rules and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, evaluate solutions, and recommend improvements.
- Strong analytical skills to identify issues, synthesize data, and formulate logical conclusions.
- Shift: Days;
Monday–Friday. Work outside standard business hours may be required. - Pay Band: B11.
- Salary: $56,600–$56,700 annually (commensurate with qualifications).
- Recruitment Period:
