The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University seeks a part‑time faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor.
This position does not meet the requirements to be on a tenure track.

• Teaching – 98%:
  Support clinical learning for students, faculty, and peers in clinical settings.
• Service – 2%:
  Complete public and professional service.

• US DDS or DMD degree (or foreign equivalent)
• State of Georgia Dental License or State of Georgia Faculty Dental License.
• Assistant Professor – Early level career with background, education and training consistent with the following position requirements.
• Associate Professor – Mid level career faculty member with at least five years at the rank of Assistant Professor.
• Professor – Senior level career faculty member with at least five years at the rank of Associate Professor.
• Consistent with SACSCOC institutional accreditation requirements.
• Evidence of ability as a teacher.
• Evidence of activity as a scholar and ability in all other duties assigned.
• Successful experience (waived for new entrants meeting all other requirements).
• Desirable personal qualities judged on interview, biographical data, and recommendations.

Part‑Time:
Fiscal year based, works year‑round. FTE is 0.40 and is not benefits eligible. Salary is commensurate with education, experience and achievements and is subject to availability of funds. Participation in the Georgia Defined Contribution Plan is mandatory for part‑time employees working less than 50% and for temporary employees. Members contribute 7 1/2% of gross salary.
