Organization

Wellstar Health System and Augusta University Health System (AUHS) recently merged and are known as Wellstar MCG Health. Together, Wellstar and Wellstar MCG Health will revolutionize healthcare and enhance the well‑being of communities across Georgia. This transformative partnership is set to make a significant impact on the lives of people throughout the state.

Location

Lake Oconee, near Greensboro, GA (approximately 75 mi east of Atlanta). The practice is a state‑of‑the‑art family‑friendly facility located at Lake Oconee.

Work Schedule
  • 4.5 days per week
  • Average 18-22 patients per day
  • Shared call responsibility
Requirements

Minimum Education

  • A MD, DO degree
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Georgia
  • Completed necessary residency training for specialty and board certified/qualified for specialty board

Minimum Experience

  • Previous practice experience desirable but not required

Minimum Skills

  • Applicants expected to possess skills commensurate with specialty
  • Applicants will be expected to show proof of competency for clinical skills applied for
