The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University seeks a faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor in General Dentistry. The position is non‑tenure track and involves teaching and patient care at Mercy Heart Clinic.

• Provide general dental care to qualified Mercy Heart Clinic patients as a direct provider.
• Supervise pre‑doctoral students and/or dental residents rotating through the facility.
• Develop, administer and provide informal/formal student performance assessment.
• Support program didactics and clinical protocols in the DCG program.
• Participate in departmental, DCG and AU committees and complete annual compliance training.

• US DDS or DMD degree (or foreign equivalent).
• At least 5 years experience practicing comprehensive general dentistry.
• Unrestricted Georgia dental license or eligibility prior to start.
• Background in teaching:
  Assistant/Associate/Professor level qualifications as described.
• Evidence of teaching ability and scholarship as required by USG accreditation.

• Significant clinical experience, post‑graduate training in general dentistry, or prior dental education experience.
• Working knowledge of practice management.

Salary commensurate with education, experience, achievements; subject to funding availability. Benefits include 13 paid holidays, vacation leave, sick leave, and a retirement plan.
