The Family YMCA of Greater Augusta is looking for a dedicated and mission-driven Area Coordinator to lead the day-to-day operations of our Richmond County Prime Time Before and After School programs. This role is central to building a safe, enriching, and engaging environment for children while supporting and developing a dynamic team of over 70 part-time staff across multiple sites.

• Support and develop a dynamic team of over 70 part-time staff across multiple sites.

• A passion for youth development and commitment to upholding YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred), OR Associate degree/CDA with relevant coursework (60+ credit hours).
• Experience:
  
  1–2 years of leadership in childcare, youth development, or education preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and people skills, with the ability to motivate and support a large, diverse team.
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to lift and move children or inventory, and willingness to travel to site locations.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to meet all YMCA and state training requirements within 30 days of hire (e.g., CPR, First Aid, Mandated Reporter, etc.).
