Augusta University offers administrative support to the division of cardiothoracic surgery faculty and advanced practice providers.
Job SummaryThis position provides administrative support to the division of cardiothoracic surgery faculty and APPs.
Responsibilities- Maintain calendars and coordinate meetings; answer/triage phone calls and greet visitors.
- Collaborate with other administrative assistants within the department with any needs regarding patients or faculty members.
- Prepare documents, maintain confidential files, distribute incoming correspondence and manage mail.
- Order and maintain office supplies and provide backup administrative support as needed.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and reimbursements; prepare all check requests for the faculty and APPs.
- Maintain timekeeping records for faculty, prepare and track clinic cancellation requests, assist with credentialing paperwork for faculty.
- Monitor job performance of administrative staff and serve as a delegate for various administrative duties.
- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.
- OR High School Diploma/GED from a recognized state or federal accrediting organization with a minimum of three years of progressively responsible office support experience.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
Shift: Days / M-F
Pay Band: B3
Salary Range: $16.54 / hour – $19.86 / hour
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range.
Recruitment Period: 1/7/26 – Until Filled.

All selected candidates are required to successfully pass a Background Check review prior to starting with Augusta University. If applicable for the specific position based on the duties, the candidate will also need to have a credit check completed for Positions of Trust and or approved departmental Purchase Card usage. Motor vehicle reports are required for positions that are required to drive an Augusta University vehicle.
