College/Department InformationThe Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University provides dental education through innovative research, patient care, and service. Job SummaryTo provide administrative and office support activities for the Dental College of Georgia's Associate Dean for Students, Admissions, and Alumni. Knowledge of college policies and procedures is essential.
Responsibilities- Event Planning: Handles planning for student events such as Hooding Ceremony, White Coat Ceremony, Graduation Picnic, and other Office of Student Affairs events. Tasks include reserving venues, coordinating vendors, preparing programs, and managing event logistics.
- Administrative Support: Provides support for the Student Affairs Office, acts as liaison with external organizations, manages faculty appointment records, processes affiliation agreements, and assists students with concerns.
- Records: Maintains student records confidentially according to FERPA guidelines, tracks student milestones, and manages travel and purchase documentation.
- Other Duties: Performs additional job-related duties as assigned.
Associate's degree with four years of relevant experience or a high school diploma with seven years of relevant experience.
Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree and knowledge of People Soft and Banner systems are preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesKnowledge of office etiquette, organizational skills, effective communication, computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), attention to detail, customer service, and ability to multitask and work independently.
Shift/Salary/BenefitsDay shift, M-F. Pay grade B5, starting at $17.88/hour, commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, paid holidays, and tuition assistance.
