Job Summary

Provides administrative and clinical supervision and support to direct service staff and interns. Participates actively in program, department, and agency leadership teams and provides leadership support to teams within Y Social Impact Center. This position ensures a seamless system of high‑quality response, assessment, intervention, and referral for all clients served by the program. This position works occasional evenings and weekends and shares responsibility for the after‑hours on‑call rotation with other clinical supervisors.

This position is at the Social Impact Center Y, the social services branch of YMCA of Greater Seattle (YGS). The mission of the Social Impact Center Y is to accelerate young people’s ability to build safe, successful, and happy lives. Every year, we serve 5,000 children, youth, young adults, and families across King County with programs that aim to strengthen young people’s ability to develop to their fullest potential through four strategies: reducing risk factors;

navigating systems toward successful life transition; ensuring stability, safety and wellness in times of crisis; and building competencies and social capital. The Social Impact Center Y’s programs include housing, behavioral health, foster care licensing, violence prevention, education, and employment. Many of the young people we serve have had involvement in the foster care, criminal justice system, and/or homelessness systems.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full‑time, fully in‑person position. The hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., however flexibility is required with some evening and weekend work required as job duties demand.

This position is part of our CCORS Program Regional Expansion. There is the opportunity to support families in:

  • North King County (Bellevue, Bothell, Duval, Issaquah, Kenmore, Woodinville, etc.)
  • South King County (Auburn, Federal Way, Enumclaw, Maple Valley, etc.)
  • Central King County (Seattle, Vashon, Eastlake, Capitol Hill, etc.)

Hiring Range

$83,000–$90,000/year

Responsibilities
  • Recruits, hires, trains, coaches, and evaluates assigned clinical staff and interns.
  • Provides clinical and administrative supervision and support to direct reports, interns, and team, including individual supervision meetings, group case consultation, and fielding crisis intervention calls when needed. Remains current in the latest trends of mental health treatment.
  • Conducts weekly team triage meetings and staff meetings to discuss matters pertaining to treatment issues, policies and procedures, case management, and staff relations.
  • Plans and/or facilitates relevant trainings for the development of staff skills and knowledge.
