Full‑Time Retail Sales Associate

$20.29 to $21.25 per hour. We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you process. Associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $2.55 per hour on top of the hourly rate.

We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. A Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business, greeting, engaging, and interacting with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.

• Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Performs non‑management open/close procedures.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and the merchandise displays maintained.
• Performs sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Effectively communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect.
• Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience.
• Successfully completes assigned training.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified.
• May be asked to assist a customer on the exterior of the building or retrieve products stored in exterior storage areas.
• Minimum age: 18 years old.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team‑oriented.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficient basic math calculation skills.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in multiple locations and on a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literate and able to operate Point‑Of‑Sale systems and common office machines.

The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Associates have the potential to earn 2‑8% commission based on gross profit of their personal performance. More details are provided during the interview process.
