General Sales Manager – WA

We are looking for an energetic and customer‑centric sales manager to lead our retail store. The store manager maintains exceptional in‑store experiences that drive sales and customer loyalty. Success is measured by meeting and exceeding store customer satisfaction and sales targets, including sales per guest (SPG), gross margin, Net Promoter Score (NPS) and other key performance metrics.
- Lead store retail sales associates in meeting and exceeding sales goals; optimize guest conversion and sales tickets by deploying the Ashley Sales Approach.
- Maintain a visible presence on the sales floor, role‑model the selling process, and interact with guests to positively impact sales.
- Resolve customer issues efficiently, balancing satisfaction with financial responsibility.
- Develop and implement daily plans to build a culture of accountability and sales performance focus.
- Ensure compliance with store operating policies and procedures, including advertising, pricing, merchandising and health/safety.
- Analyze daily operational and financial reports to identify performance trends and take corrective action.
- Recruit, develop and lead a team that supports performance and growth strategies through coaching, target setting, and recognition.
- Monitor controllable expenses, such as utilities, maintenance and shrinkage.
- Demonstrate the company’s core values in all job functions.
Compensation
Annual Salary: $80,200.00. Employees are also eligible to earn monthly, quarterly and annual incentives based on store sales, ranging from $27,250 to $40,000 depending on performance. Profit sharing is available to eligible employees.
