We are currently seeking a Production / Purchasing Support position to support the Shipping and Administrative work centers by assisting in the workflow to Outside Processors and in performance improvement to meet LMI's 100% on‑time delivery objective. In all actions supports LMI's Quality Policy, Mission Statement and other LMI policies and procedures by supporting our commitment to total customer satisfaction, quality products and services, lean processes, continuous improvement, on‑time delivery, safety, teaming, individual accountability and respect for people.

Pay Rate - $20- $23 per hour DOE

• Hardness and Conductivity for Temper Inspection
• Receive certs from vendors, make copies and pull work orders
• Scan documents into On Base
• Verify outside processes and document on work order and move to next operation
• Forklift certified (optional)
• Assist with PO processing flow within team.
• Write purchase orders for subcontract and outside processing as necessary
• All duties assigned by the Supervisor and or other members of the management team.

• High school diploma or high school equivalency preferred. Candidates that do not have a high school diploma or high school equivalency will be required to take a pre‑employment assessment to be considered for the role.
• Demonstrates ability to successfully manage multiple priorities or tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrates proficiency with computers:
  Excel, Word and Access software.
• Knowledge of AS 400 purchasing systems (ie:jobscope) a plus
• Demonstrates ability to accurately type a minimum of 30 words per minute and perform alpha‑numeric data entry at a minimum of 4000 keystrokes per

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud
• Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor including, but not limited to, eye, ear, and foot protection
• May occasionally lift and/or move up to 10-50 pounds
