Assembler

As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in pre‑assembly tasks such as drilling and deburring parts, as well as assembling component parts by attaching ground studs, nut plates, or bonding.
You will utilize hand and pneumatic tools, measuring tools such as Micrometers and Calipers, and engage in riveting and countersinking. You will work from aerospace blueprints and schematics, gaining valuable skills and experience in the field.
- Perform pre‑assembly tasks such as drilling and deburring parts to prepare for assembly.
- Assemble component parts by attaching parts together, including installing ground studs and attaching nut plates.
- Utilize hand and pneumatic tools, as well as measuring tools like Micrometers and Calipers.
- Engage in riveting and countersinking tasks.
- Work from aerospace blueprints and schematics to complete assembly tasks.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sheet metal assembly.
- Experience with riveting and countersinking.
- Ability to work hands‑on in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in using drills and basic tools.
- Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, shim gauges, and height gauges.
- Ability to read and understand work instructions and blueprints.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Skills & Qualifications
- Prior aerospace assembly experience is highly desired.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to read and speak English fluently.

Work in a clean manufacturing shop that specializes in working with steel and sheet metal to produce parts for the aerospace industry. The environment is organized and may be loud at times due to the nature of the work. The standard shift is from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with potential adjustments to 5:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Volunteers may work on Saturdays, while Sundays are reserved for plant shutdown.
Initial training begins at 7:00 AM weekly every Tuesday. Employees are expected to bring physical proof of citizenship, such as a passport or birth certificate, on their first day.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 – $25.00/hr.
