As a Building Operations Engineer at JLL, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring optimal facility performance while shaping a brighter way for our clients and building occupants. This role combines technical expertise with strategic thinking as you monitor, maintain, and optimize critical building systems including HVAC, refrigeration, electrical equipment, UPS systems, and generators. You'll work collaboratively with site operations managers, contractors, and vendors to maintain seamless facility operations while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

• Monitor and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, electrical equipment, and filters while reviewing operational logs to ensure proper functionality
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks and oversee repair work on building systems including UPS systems and generators
• Ensure adequate inventory of tools and supplies by preparing purchase orders, developing supplier sources, and conducting periodic equipment condition checks
• Oversee contractor activities within the building, understanding scope of work requirements and collaborating with site operations managers
• Maintain compliance with regulatory laws and guidelines, alerting management of building discrepancies as needed
• Manage workflow and assign work orders to employees and vendors while maintaining building drawings, single-line diagrams, and compliance documentation

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in building operations or facilities maintenance
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, UPS systems, and generator operations
• Experience working with contractors and vendors in a facilities management environment

• EPA Universal 608
• Previous experience in commercial real estate or corporate facilities management
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• General mechanical experience with plumbing, electrical, and building maintenance systems

Schedule: M-F 8:00am to 4:30pm

Location: Auburn, WA
