Technical Consulting and Development Manager

Based in Auburn, Washington, Praece Consulting is a specialized IT firm of 30+ problem solvers dedicated to improving complex business processes. We don’t just “fix computers” or “build software”, we create practical solutions to real-world problems. Our Workflow Consulting team works across diverse industries to identify inefficiencies and build high-impact solutions, ranging from software implementation and system integration to custom-built web applications from the ground up.

We are looking for a Technical Consulting and Development Manager who thrives at the intersection of people leadership, project management, and technical solution design. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of consultants and developers, ensuring that our clients receive elegant, scalable solutions while your team stays supported and challenged.

• Team Leadership:
  Manage a diverse team of technical consultants. You’ll handle day-to-day operations, conduct performance reviews, and mentor staff with varying levels of technical expertise.
• Solutions Architecture:
  Act as the lead consultant for clients, helping them diagnose workflow bottlenecks and designing technical roadmaps (integrations, custom scripts, or full web apps).
• Project Management:
  Oversee the lifecycle of multiple projects ensuring they stay on schedule, within scope, and meet our high standards for quality.
• Technical Oversight:
  While you may not be coding all day, you must speak the language. Our solutions are primarily built using Python and Node.js, and you will be responsible for ensuring technical feasibility and excellence.
• Client Relationship Management:
  Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, translating complex technical concepts into clear business value.

• The  Technologist Leader :
  You have a background in development or technical consulting (specifically with Python and/or Node.js) and understand how to guide others through the development lifecycle.
• Versatile Thinker:
  You enjoy the variety of working across different industries and can quickly  get  how a new business operates.
• The Orchestrator:
  You are highly organized and can juggle the  people  side of management with the  logistics  side of project delivery.
