Smart Hire is looking for an EDI Coordinator for a client in the Auburn WA area. This is a full time, direct hire role. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of hands on EDI OR Ecommerce OR Order Processing experience, strong customer service and computer skills

This role is critical to ensuring seamless electronic data exchange with our customers and trading partners. What You’ll Own- Process daily EDI transactions including purchase orders, acknowledgements, invoices, and related documents
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve EDI errors quickly and accurately
- Manage EDI mapping, onboarding, account setup, and ongoing maintenance
- Maintain customer data including pricing, item/style setup, and account updates
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure smooth order flow and compliance with customer requirements
- Support process improvements and special projects as needed
- 2+ years of hands-on EDI experience
- Strong experience with EDI mapping, onboarding, and account maintenance
- Working knowledge of EDI platforms and managed service providers
- Solid Excel and Outlook skills (you’re comfortable working in systems all day)
- High attention to detail and strong data accuracy
- You don’t just process transactions — you catch issues before they snowball
- You can prioritize like a pro in a high-volume environment
- You work independently but collaborate easily when needed
- You stay calm under pressure and don’t panic when systems get noisy
- You’re flexible when business needs require extended hours
