What You’ll Do
  • Exemplify MCR’s values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
  • Writes tickets and processes cash winning tickets.
  • Aware of popular lines and odds in the Sports book.
  • Effectively and consistently communicates sports betting rules.
  • Ensues all information is accurately entered into the till and process any voided wagers.
  • Count cash at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Committed to always working in a compliant environment in the Sports book and adhere to Tribal Gaming Commission reporting requirements.
  • Calls for MTL support when writing bets requiring MTL paperwork.
  • Loading paper in Sports Betting Kiosks when needed.
  • Ensure Sports Book area is clean, and that the equipment is in proper working condition daily.
  • Creates, maintains, and facilitates a positive and safe work environment; promotes positive team member relations and reports issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
  • One (1) year of experience as a Sports book Writer preferred.
  • Tribal gaming experience a plus.
How You’ll Be Successful
  • Ability to promote products and services confidently and maintain high standards of professionalism.
  • Ability to perform different tasks and follow procedures correctly, independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a high volume and stressful environment.

This position requires passing an assessment to move forward in the hiring process.
