Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking an experienced Numerical Control Programmer within the Fabrication Organization in Auburn, Washington. The NC Programmer will provide programming expertise for multi-axis high‑speed machining of aluminum and hard metal aircraft components to support Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) programs.
Primary Responsibilities- Provides numerical control, machining and programming technical experience.
- Establishes technical requirements for manufacturing and producibility.
- Plans, creates, verifies and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry and documentation that directs the operations for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment required to manufacture and inspect parts, tools and assemblies for departmental work.
- Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software and equipment.
- Works under general direction.
- 3 or more years NC programming experience
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings
- 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Mid‑Level)
- CATIA V5 NC Programming
- Experience related to multi‑axis high‑speed machining of aluminum and titanium aircraft components, Machine Control Data (MCD) and new machining process development
- 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Senior Level)

ShiftThis position is for 2nd shift. Typical schedule is 12 pm–8:30 pm PST (this is flexible with a start time anywhere from 12–2 pm).

Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience are required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
- Summary pay range for Mid‑Level (Level 3): $107,100 – $144,900
- Summary pay range for Senior (Level 4): $129,200 – $174,800
