Who You Are

You enjoy providing a full range of clerical and administrative support for Muckleshoot Bingo. This is a moderately complex clerical position involving the responsibility for the performance of a variety of clerical tasks and multi‑line phone operation. The exercise of independent judgment is used for routine assignments, which are done in accordance with defined procedures. This job has no management authority.

What

You Will Do
  • Greet visitors, staff, and the general public in person and/or via a multi‑line phone system, promoting positive guest relations, answering questions, screening and responding to inquiries, and referring or directing them when necessary to the appropriate people.
  • Record and update daily Bingo jackpots on the phone system. Develop a strong understanding of the promotions offered daily and be able to relay that promotion information to inquiring customers.
  • Assist in monitoring administrative office supplies and inventory and enter purchase requests in software program for supervisory approval.
  • Receive various work requests and complete requests as assigned, which may include, but is not limited to requests for creating forms, cover sheets, logs, labels, sign‑in sheets, and graphs using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Maintain an efficient and organized electronic and paper filing system.
  • Route and log all internal forms and paperwork following proper procedures.
  • Perform assigned on‑going administrative and clerical tasks for departments throughout Bingo requiring computer skills using various applications and programs.
  • Sort, date‑stamp, and route both US Mail and internal mail appropriately. Transport and send outgoing mail through local shipping facilities such as USPS, Fed Ex, and UPS as needed. Ensure timely and accurate distribution of correspondence.
  • Make coffee daily and maintain the cleanliness of the 2nd floor break room and conference rooms.
  • May schedule meetings, make training and travel arrangements, and maintain calendars for supervisors and other MIB leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year clerical/receptionist experience preferred.
  • Experience using computers and various computer applications and software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher preferred.
