Position: Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Float
Location: Auburn, NY

Shift: 3x12 (Day and Night both are available)

Duration: 13 weeks

A facility in Auburn, NY is seeking an experienced Med Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a float position. Candidates must be flexible and willing to float to other units as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• Active New York State (NYS) RN License
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to independently interpret telemetry strips
• IV insertion and management experience required (facility does not have an IV team)
• NIHSS certification required prior to start
• 6 Continuing Education Hours (CEUs) related to Stroke care required prior to start
• Travel experience preferred

Schedule & Additional Details:

• Floating is required

• Every other weekend required
