Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

• Able to correctly use and read measuring tools (i.e. tape measure, micrometers, Vernier calipers).
• Able to read basic blueprints.
• Operator may layout own work, setting up, adjusting and operating some, but not all of following machines: shear, drill press, punch presses, bevel grinders, ცენტ, Hatchett grinder, etc.
• Perform some, but not all processing operations in the fabrication of a variety of doctor blades: cut stock to length, flatten, straighten, punch, blank, perforate, tap and rip to width, rout contours to shape blade and assemble.
• Control the equipment to hold quality requirements, drawing dimensions and tolerances consistently.
• Basic shop mathematics and technologies.
• Verbal and written communication skills to convey information within the organization.
• Ability to solve practical manufacturing problems with little guidance.
• Work overtime as required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of manufacturing experience with exposure to fabricating and assembly operations. Experience with devices to lift irregular‑shaped objects (i.e. cranes, power lifts, and methods of lifting).
