- Maine is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to students in Topsham, ME. The ideal candidate will support the health and well-being of students by delivering timely medical assistance, managing chronic conditions, and promoting a safe and healthy school environment.

Responsibilities

* Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff as needed.

* Assess and manage acute and chronic health conditions in a school setting.

* Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with state regulations.

* Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for students with special needs.

* Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers to support student health.

* Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school community.

* Ensure compliance with school health policies and state regulations.

Requirements

* Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine.

* Previous experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred.

* Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

* CPR and First Aid certification required.
