Dental Hygienist in Auburn, ME

Responsibilities
  • Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, scaling, and polishing
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide oral health instructions
  • Conduct patient assessments and document medical history and treatment plans
  • Assist the dentist during procedures and perform dental assisting duties as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental office systems such as Eaglesoft or Epic
  • Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment

  • Job Type: Full-time day shift with 3.5 day workweek and flexible schedule
  • Work setting:
    In person/office
  • Salary: $90,000 - $105,000 per year
  • 3.5 Day Workweek and flexible schedule

What you need
  • Hygiene License (Required)
  • Radiology Certification (Preferred)
  • Local Anesthesia Certification (Preferred)
  • Proficient in dental assisting techniques and procedures
  • Knowledge of medical documentation and patient assessment
  • Familiarity with dental office systems such as Eaglesoft or Epic
  • Ability to take and develop dental x-rays
  • Strong communication skills to educate patients on oral hygiene practices
  • Attention to detail for accurate documentation of patient records
  • Ability to work well in a team environment alongside dentists and other dental professionals
  • Knowledge of vital signs and medical records management
  • Ability to relocate to Auburn, ME before starting work (Required)
