Base pay range: $23.00/hr

The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store/multiple stores. They utilize tools to minimize loss to the Company, including but not limited to identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring the store's physical security, auditing the Electronic Article Surveillance and driving a shrink elimination culture in the store.

The role involves preparing accurate and detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries, preserving evidence, interacting with law enforcement, and testifying in criminal and civil court actions. The Asset Protection Specialist reports hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and carries out responsibilities in a manner that minimizes risk of injury to associates, vendors, customers, and the Company.

They demonstrate integrity at all times and support asset protection and operational objectives for the store.

• Prevent financial loss caused by theft and fraud and support safety and environmental program compliance.
• Identify incidents of theft and fraud, review CCTV and exception reports, monitor physical security, and audit Electronic Article Surveillance.
• Drive a shrink elimination culture in the store.
• Prepare accurate and detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries; preserve evidence.
• Interact with law enforcement and testify in criminal and civil court actions as required.
• Report hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and maintain a safe work environment for associates, vendors, and customers.
• Demonstrate integrity at all times and align with store business objectives while supporting asset protection activities.
