• Read and write English; interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift up to 45 lbs, occasionally up to 60 lbs.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate

The Part‑time Retail Associate performs management‑assigned duties, including stocking, maintaining store sections, carry‑out services, and store cleaning.

• Maintain assigned store section and stock merchandise using proper equipment (excluding power/heavy equipment).
• Assure proper pricing, check product date codes, stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, displays, refrigerated/frozen cases.
• Prepare perishable products for sale.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of store and parking lot.
• Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and courteous assistance to customers with current store and product information.
• Load customer purchases by assisting customers to their vehicles.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.
