Position Summary

As the NOC Shift RN
, you will supervise and coordinate the day-to-day nursing operations during your shift, ensuring high-quality resident care in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will serve as a clinical leader, supporting staff, overseeing resident care, and maintaining a safe and calm overnight environment.

Key Responsibilities (Summary)
  • Supervise nursing staff and oversee clinical operations during the NOC shift
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, care plans, and regulatory standards
  • Provide direct nursing care and respond to changes in resident condition
  • Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed
  • Communicate resident status and concerns to physicians, families, and leadership
  • Monitor medication administration, treatments, and documentation for accuracy
  • Support staff development, coaching, and teamwork
  • Promote a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents and staff
Qualifications
  • Current, active RN license in good standing with the State of California
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong leadership, clinical judgment, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and nursing best practices
  • Experience with Point Click Care  (PCC) preferred
  • A team‑focused mindset with a calm, professional approach to overnight care
