Placer County is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Deputy Probation Officer I - Institution. his is the entry level class in the Deputy Probation Officer - Institution series. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the care and guidance of juveniles within our facilities, overseeing organized activities, ensuring security, and providing occasional counseling.
Qualifications- Experience:
No experience is required. - Training:
An Associate of Arts degree or equivalent (completion of 60 units at an accredited college, with at least 9 units in the behavioral sciences). Experience as a group or youth counselor, or other paid, full-time experience in related juvenile work may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.
