$28.00/hr - $30.00/hr

We have an immediate need for a Project Coordinator in the Placer County area. This position supports utility construction. Requires effective communication, leadership, problem solving, and organizational skills. The Project Coordinator will report to and work alongside the Project Manager and aid in daily planning and reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Project planning and coordination
• Maintain and update construction schedules
• Coordinate with various stakeholders and subcontractors as the schedule changes
• Communicate daily construction activities to CM and PM
• Provide regular updates to the team on the project status and progress
• Update plan vs. actual performance tracking
• Maintain accurate and current project documentation including progress reports, change orders, and project communications.
• Review daily paperwork for compliance
• Track and validate work units and deliverables
• Verify Field Change Order requests and paperwork is complete
• Communicate daily construction activities to CM and PM
• Enter submittals and documentation in client systems
• Escalate field IT issues
• Use of broad problem-solving skills to solve problems on the fly

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of working experience working in construction and or utility industry
• Proficiency in Excel and Word

Must be able to pass a drug test and background check

Valid Driver’s License required
